Beauty: B.liv CC Pore Away (CC Cream)
It's been a long time since there was a proper beauty product review. Since it's the first day of the new month, why not do another? I've been hearing a lot about b.liv products lately. I think it is because more pharmacies/makeup outlets are bringing their stock in. B.liv is usually famous for their skincare, especially "off with those heads" product. It takes out blackheads, super cute la b.liv product names. At least you will get a laugh from it. Recently I got to try out B.liv CC Pore Away, which is a Complexion Correcting CC Cream.

B.liv CC Pore Away: Complexion Correcting CC Cream
Main function of the CC Cream is to help correct complexion, protect skin and tighten up the pores. Sort of sound like a skincare product right? Guess it's good since it provides coverage along with skincare benefits.

Packaging
When I first got it the box had all of the typical details like description, ingredient list and usage information. I love how when I opened it, the inner box that held the product had a velvet feel, which totally surprised me. I mean how often does your make up inner box feels like velvet?! In case if you're lazy to zoom into the picture, here is everything that is written at the back of the box.

Description: Smooth like porcelain, dewy like an angel's kiss. That's what naturally perfect skin looks and feels like. With the effective complexion correction properties, it brings out the natural radiance of your skin to correct your skin’s tone and texture. Finally, you can go with the glow, your inborn glow.

Full Ingredient List: Aqua (Water), Dimethicone, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Diethylhexyl Carbonate, Zinc Oxide, Nylon-12, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dimethiconol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Methicone, Mica, PEG-200, Polyester-1, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Methylisothiazolinone, Gelidium Cartilagineum Extract, Humulus Lupulus Strobile, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Propylene Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Teprenone, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Bellis Perennis Flower Extract, Bisabolol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Mel Extract, Morus Bombycis Root Extract, Niacinamide, Salix Alba Bark Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract

Usage: Apply to moisturized face with fingertips, blending for an even, natural finish. Pat on more wherever you want to build coverage.

The product comes with 30ml of CC Cream and there is a pump to release the cream. Which is super useful especially when you're rushing to put on your make up.

Application
When I first opened the package, do know that you have to pump at least 5 times on the first try. After that each pump was easy and the cream that came out was thick. I was surprise to see there weren't any oil coming out first as some other bb cream or cc cream has. Also once it was easy to swipe it around my hand/face, fyi I only used my fingers because application was smooth. It took me after a couple of time using it, I realize that about 2-3 pumps is enough for the whole face. Reason is because, when I apply it I thought the coverage wasn't enough but after a while, I notice my face got a white. So just use the cream moderately and wait about 5 minutes for the cream to sink into your face to give you that glow. There was a lotion-floral-smell when I first apply it on my hands but after a minute, the smell disappeared. So there isn't much fragrance left on your skin.

In case if you are wondering, the 3 main active ingredients found in b.liv CC Pore Away is Marula Oil, Brown Algae and Red Algae. Listed down full details of each ingredients in case for those with sensitive skin are curious about.

Main Active Ingredients:
Marula Oil (Sclerocarya Birrea Oil)
Enriched with Vitamin C, anti-oxidants and oleic acid (unsaturated oil, essential oil for healthy skin), helps rebuild barrier of skin, provides in-depth hydration & repair scar, which make it a very high efficient natural oil to help tighten pores.

Brown Algae (Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract)
Extracted from Laminaria Ochroleuca, a natural plant-based UV absorbent as it grows on the sun-exposed coastal area that makes it has the ability to defense from UVA/UVB. It also act on the Langerhans cell for anti-inflammatory properties against sun damage. Suitable for sensitive skin

Red Algae (Gelidium cartilagineum Extract)
Contains Vitamin E & SPD (Superphyco-D, a marine free-radical scavenger) for anti-oxidant properties. Contains mucin, contributes to instant moisturize and soften the skin layer.

Performance & Conclusion
I would say that this CC Cream is a good base for those that want to go for casual natural look. The look came out dewy and it wasn't thick on the skin. Sort of felt like putting on moisturizer because it was just very cooling and felt watery as I blended on my face. If you are aiming for a full coverage, I would recommend you using this CC Cream as your base make up before your foundation. But since my face is currently cleared up, I only used this as my foundation. I didn't even felt the need to put powder on it. Felt perfectly fine through out the day.

Where To Purchase?
Currently this product is priced at RM 46.70 instead of RM 75 on Hermo. Definitely a steal purchase since it has the brightening along with the other skincare benefits.

Currently Hermo is also having their annual mega Christmas sales, "A Perfect Christmas"! Which is from 1st-29th December 2015. There is currently a lot of promotions, discounts, lucky draws and even surprises. Do join the fun HERE.
