Traveling to the city can be hard especially when you need to be at the heart of Kuala Lumpur at peak hour. Usually most would head to KL for work or maybe for traveling purposes. What if I told you that I found an affordable place that is located within 5 minutes walking distance to Suria KLCC & 10 minutes walking distance to Pavilion?
Thanks to HaftaRent, I manage to book my serviced apartment/hotel for a weekend stay with my friends at Fraser Place (located opposite KL Live). HaftaRent (previously known as Trupcotel) pride themselves for being the best executive homes with no extra bills. I felt like a queen living there. During my stay instead of venturing out KL night life, my friends and I couldn't get enough of apartment and HaftaRent features because everything from entertainment to relaxation was found there.
What makes HaftaRent different from hotels?
HaftaRent allows short and long term booking from 1 week up to 2 years. This helps travellers, students or those working adult based at kl for a client project. Everything with HaftaRent is online from their website. Just submit an inquiry that states your personal info, booking type (individual vs sharing) and desired location. Deposit is at RM 399 (paid at booking confirmation). Prices for a place is starting from RM400 a week which includes all utility bills (wifi/water/electricity), facility bills (gym/swimming pool/sauna/etc) and weekly housekeeping. Payment is usually taken 1 month in advance, and can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
From the three places available from HaftaRent collection, I gotten Fraser Place as I wanted a place with a walking distance from KLCC. The place is simply cosy with all of the brightly furnished items. It's a two room apartment with living room, kitchen and a toilet with shower and tub.
Both rooms have study tables present for those that needs to get work done. The master room comes with a king sized bed along with the softest pillows, LCD tv, laundry basket, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and hangers.
The wifi router is located at the second room along with a speaker alarm charger for android and a queen sized bed.
The kitchen is well equipped with functional fridge, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and induction cooker, there is even ikea cooking utensils. If you feel like cleaning up the place after cooking, all of the cleaning supplies are found at the bottom cabinets.
The bathroom have everything you need from shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, bathtub, shower head and etc.
The entire apartment is fully air conditioned in all rooms. When you like to spend time with your friends or family, the living room is perfect with the comfy vibrant colour chairs and huge screen tv. Also, you can spot KLCC from the living room window!
The security is very strict with the accessibility to rooms and facilities, hence always remember to bring your tenant access card with you at ALL TIMES. Aside from the apartment stay, you can look forward to spa, pool and gym on the 18th floor.
To soak in the sun and enjoy the beautiful weather, the infinity pool is at your service with a breathe taking view of KL TOWER.
For relaxation, there is a steam, sauna, indoor cold and hot jacuzzi pool at RefresH. It has separate areas for men and women. You can expect to find towels, shower room, shampoo, drinking water, lockers, hair dryer, even a phone available while you are relaxing. It's open daily from 7am to 10pm.
Tenants can also do their own laundry at SpiN. The laundry room have both washing machine and dryer both priced at RM8 per cycle each.
There are two PlaY rooms next to the gym that are equipped with Xbox and Wii. For bookings, tenants have to register at the reception and booking is subject to an hour usage.
To those who wants to enjoy the view of the city and relax with some nature around, can head over to the garden located outside of PlaY rooms.
After my stay at Fraser Place, it was hard going back home. I love how conveniently located Fraser Place is at. I actually forgotten to bring my toothbrush and just walked across to KL LIVE 7-11 store to get one. And for dinner my friends and I walked out to a Korean dinner place for a bite. Everything we needed was at walking distance. For more info do click at the links below.
