Food: Levain Boulangerie Patisserie (Kuala Lumpur)

Before I flew to Australia, I had a little adventure with the girls to the city, Kuala Lumpur <3 We went all out going to the city like typical tourist. It's been a while since I took the public transport to KL and amelia thought that it would be a fun experience for us all. So a few hours before flight, off we went to KL for some food adventure :)

We took KTM and LRT. Gosh, the wait for the train was so long! Especially the KTM, 30 minutes of wait. But with friends around, time flew by pretty fast. I can't imagine taking the KTM every morning for work if I have too. Thank goodness for the current MRT project, hopefully it can be done ASAP without any problems.

So our food hunt for the day was LEVAIN Boulangerie Patisserie in KL. The restaurant looked super cottage like. Besides that, the restaurant also looked very french like with all of the pasta and pastries serve in the restaurant :) If you are driving there and worry for parking, don't be, there is parking valet for only RM2~! :D Super cheap right? hehe.

Love the entire restaurant decorations,
as every corner of the place is like a photo shoot background

Craving for some pasta along with sweet dessert on an affordable price?

We took a few pictures while waiting for the train to come. Thank goodness for the good weather. Super windy that day and it wasn't too hot in the afternoon. It took us about an hour plus for us to get to KL. Honestly, I won't mind driving down if it wasn't for the traffic or the petrol going down there. Life of a student. haha.

I love how spacious it is in the restaurant. There are seats inside the restaurant, outside for those who wants some fresh air or a smoke and even a private room or more space upstairs! Do note that you gotta get a seat first and then order and pay at the counter. The counter would then ask you what is your seat number for them to deliver the food to you :) The crowd around lunch time is massive! There are a lot of working people that then to eat here as it's very affordable! :D

Check out the size of the cakes and the unbelievable prices! <3

While waiting for our food to arrive, we took a few pictures to kill time.

Felt like I had a good hair day <3

Once I place my camera on the table, the food came! It was fast service despite the large lunch crowd that came in to the restaurant!

Caffe Latte || RM7.90
Hot Chocolate || RM8.90

Some how I didn't really like the latte, not sure was it because of the beans they use but yeah. It just wasn't suited to me but gosh, Kish's Hot Chocolate was amazing! :) It's so good!

 Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti || RM12.80

The portion was average and I was surprise that they gave me chili flakes at the side as I didn't really like chili. But you know what? It was good! I even mix the chili flakes with the pasta and tho the portion wasn't big, it was filling. Just perfect! You know how some creamy pasta would make you feel very stuff half way? Well, this was creamy but wasn't too much. The easiest way to put it is, this pasta wasn't "jelak" for me :)

The rest of the dishes were ordered by the rest and well I don't know what they ordered or how much it is. Just look at the pictures and show the staff if you want to order it? hehe.

 Somehow pasta makes me happy

Bartlett Strawberry || RM4.90

I ordered dessert after my meal because I wanted to try their pastry and I didn't regret ordering it. It love strawberries and to see a strawberry tart in a restaurant, was just heaven!! FYI since I got to Australia, I been having strawberries everyday! Apparently it's STRAWBERRY SEASON here! :D That's about it. After having our lunch, we head over to Avenue K and shop a little at H&M.

OOTD for the day

If you girls are bored and planning to do something different, I strongly suggest taking the public transport down to KL and just explore around :) You never know what you just may find in the city.
