Karmakamet Diner Secret World | Must Visit Cafes In Bangkok
Finally this is the fourth and last post of the series Must Visit Cafes In Bangkok. Saved the best place for the last. Karmakamet Diner is like a secret garden set up restaurant. One step into the place and you might forget that you are actually in the heart of the busy hustling city of Thailand. It's like you entered into a magical park and the restaurant decorated beautifully with brick walls, dark wood furnishing, marble tables, dried flowers hanging from above with various bottles placed at every corner.

Do know that all good things are not easily obtain. This place was not easy to find. Do beware that google maps to the place is wrong and lead us to somewhere else. Do know that it's super near Emporium Mall.

Once we were seated to our table, I received that there was a Karmakamet ‘newspaper’, wine bottles, rose and a candle and with coasters revealing hand-written letters between Edge and Som. If you think about it, this restaurant is truly charming and do take a lot of effort into providing the best atmosphere to the guests. If you were to take any pictures, I swear it would be an instagram worthy shot as everything is perfectly and uniquely designed.

At the other 3 tables around us, we could see that everyone ordered the similar dish which was the famous "The Strawberry In The Clouds" dessert. We had just finish enjoying our latte from D'ark by Phillip Di Bella Cafe and also enjoy the cool aircon at Emporium Mall. It was around 5 PM when we finally found Karmakamet Diner. So we weren't that hungry and just wanted to get some drinks.

Mai Tai 180 THB | Milky Way Story 250 THB

Since it was happy hour, I ordered Mai Tai and Kish ordered Milky Way Story. My Mai Tai was great. Strong and refreshing, perfect for an evening pick me up. I didn't quite like Milky Way Story, it was like drinking Yakult with Alcohol? Do know that Karmakamet is rated quite pricey which is around 300 - 1200 THB for a main dish.

Karmakamet Secret World started out first as an essential oil shop and they had expanded to a restaurant. Hence at the restaurant, they were also selling essential oils, dried up ingredients to make your own items, lotions and etc. The store is equally as beautifully decorated. They even place essential oils at every corner with a diffuser for guest to relax while waiting for their food to arrive.

I would say that this is definitely a place to visit at least once. Where else can you find such a beautiful set up? The food here is more towards fine dining at night. Oh, if you can, come in the morning or afternoon to try out their brunch dishes and crab pasta. Apparently it is a must order. I saw a lot of food postings instagram. But of course the most popular dish here is The Strawberry In The Clouds (390 THB). Just remember to have enough money with you before you order.

D'ARK By Phillip Di Bella | Must Visit Cafes In Bangkok
Third cafe that I visited in Bangkok was unexpectedly D'ARK By Phillip Di Bella. I say unexpectedly as it wasn't part of our cafe hunt list. I noticed this cafe while we were walking on the street and it was gorgeous. No regrets to checking out this place.

As we walked, I really love how cafes in Bangkok take an effort to make sure that the seats outside would be comfortable as it is found inside. Even from the outside, everything just feels so instagram worthy shots. I actually saw this girl taking her OOTD for MULTIPLE outfits outside of the cafe (FYI I think she runs a Taobao store because there was two people following her to provide her various accessories to fit the outfit and the photographer only used an IPhone).

Back to the cafe, so I actually saw that they won an award for best restaurant 2016 & 2017 by Thailand Tattler Magazine. Sad to say, I was full from lunch at Audrey Cafe Bistro and didn't get a chance to try out their food. I did order an Iced Latte because of the hot weather and we needed to rest from all of the walking around Bangkok.

The cafe is very well decorated and brightly lit with the natural lighting . Various beans placed in front of the counter with deserts at the side of the counter. I really love the streams of magical ceiling lights dangle from above. The cafe has two floors and an upper scale restaurant on the third floor.

YOU GOTTA GO TO THEIR WASHROOM. It's a bit silly of me to say this, but just trust me. EVERYTHING IN THE WASHROOM IS BLACK MARBLE. Should have took a picture of it. Imagine the floors, sink and toilet bowl black marble. It's like something you see on Pinterest or a magazine.

I asked the barista some questions about the cafe and their coffee. He offered to show me their coffee art, it was super cute and I got to go to the side of the counter to watch him at work. Really appreciated their kind hospitality and they actually gave me a free latte.

Free Latte

Do order their brunch dishes or pancakes if you do visit this cafe. I saw a few tables ordered them during the mid afternoon. Instagram also showed a lot of people come here for their desserts. You can check out their menu, here. Apparently they have pasta and steak too and So don't miss out on it!
